- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I was told my engagement ring would take 1 week to quote a repair and would be repaired in the workshop on the premises. After not hearing from them for 2 weeks I rang to enquire and was confronted by a rude lady telling me it would be the following week then putting down the phone. Following this I went to the shop to collect it to go elsewhere. I was told I could not have my ring back as it was in their workshop (not on the premises!) He refused to get it for me or tell me the whereabouts of my ring. I then reported the matter to the local police and eventually got my ring back. I was extremely disappointed that I was lied to and spoken to so rudely by the shop owners in my own local jewellers and that I had to take the matter so far because of their poor service.By jamesballard, February 06, 2020
